Worship of Trees.

                      अथ श्री द्रुमार्चन स्तोत्रम्

श्री गुरुभ्यो नमः हरी ॐ 
पूर्वं जाताः वनस्पत्यः सृष्टेः आद्याः प्रचेतसः। 
मानवात् पूर्वजाः ते हि जीवनस्य गुरवः॥ 

द्विपद् चतुष्पदं सर्वं युष्मदन्नेन जीवति। 
वायुमन्नं च यच्छन्ति प्राणदाः धर्मबन्धवः॥

तुलसी हृद्यमारोग्या पूज्यते विष्णुपादके। 
नीमस्तु रक्तशुद्ध्यर्थं कीटहन्त्री च सर्वदा॥ 

बिल्वपत्रं शिवे दत्तं त्रिदलं त्रिगुणात्मकम्। 
चन्दनं शीतलं देहे गन्धपुष्टिकरं शुभम्॥ 

हरिद्रा शोथनाशाय पूजायां शुभदा सदा। 
कदली फलदात्री च यज्ञे पात्रं च पूजितम्॥ 

पलाशः रक्तवर्णश्च होलिकायां प्रयुज्यते। 
आम्रपत्रं गृहं शुद्ध्यै तोरणं शुभदं स्मृतम्॥

अश्वत्थो देववृक्षोऽयं ब्रह्मरूपः सनातनः। 
गीतातत्त्वप्रकाशश्च मूलोर्ध्वशाखविग्रहः॥ 

प्राणवायुप्रदः शुद्धः छायादाता दिनेषु च। 
पूज्यते त्र्यंबके देवि विष्णुपादे च नित्यशः॥ 

हृद्रोगशमनः प्रोक्तः वातपित्तहरः शुभः। 
सर्वजीवनसंग्राही धर्मबन्धुः सदा स्मृतः॥

नमः प्राचीनजीवेभ्यः सत्त्वयुक्ताः वनस्पतिः। 
भवतु नित्यं पूज्यत्वं युष्माकं लोकेषु सर्वदा॥

इति श्रीजानकीरामकविविरचितं द्रुमार्चनस्तोत्रं सम्पूर्णम्।
श्री कृष्णार्पणमस्तु 

1.
पूर्वं जाताः वनस्पत्यः सृष्टेः आद्याः प्रचेतसः।
मानवात् पूर्वजाः ते हि जीवनस्य गुरवः॥
The plants were born first—ancient beings of creation, endowed with consciousness.
They are elders to mankind, revered as teachers of life.
2.
द्विपद् चतुष्पदं सर्वं युष्मदन्नेन जीवति।
वायुमन्नं च यच्छन्ति प्राणदाः धर्मबन्धवः॥
All creatures—two-legged and four—live by your nourishment.
You give food and air, O givers of breath, companions in dharma.
3.
तुलसी हृद्यमारोग्या पूज्यते विष्णुपादके।
नीमस्तु रक्तशुद्ध्यर्थं कीटहन्त्री च सर्वदा॥
Tulsi brings heart’s healing and is worshipped at Vishnu’s feet.
Neem purifies the blood and protects from pests eternally.
4.
बिल्वपत्रं शिवे दत्तं त्रिदलं त्रिगुणात्मकम्।
चन्दनं शीतलं देहे गन्धपुष्टिकरं शुभम्॥
Bilva leaves are offered to Shiva—threefold, symbolizing the three gunas.
Sandalwood cools the body and blesses it with sacred fragrance.
5.
हरिद्रा शोथनाशाय पूजायां शुभदा सदा।
कदली फलदात्री च यज्ञे पात्रं च पूजितम्॥
Turmeric heals inflammation and sanctifies rituals.
Banana gives nourishing fruit and is revered in yajñas.
6.
पलाशः रक्तवर्णश्च होलिकायां प्रयुज्यते।
आम्रपत्रं गृहं शुद्ध्यै तोरणं शुभदं स्मृतम्॥
Palasha’s red blossoms are used in Holi’s sacred rites.
Mango leaves purify homes and adorn auspicious doorways.
7.
अश्वत्थो देववृक्षोऽयं ब्रह्मरूपः सनातनः।
गीतातत्त्वप्रकाशश्च मूलोर्ध्वशाखविग्रहः॥
Ashvattha is the divine tree—eternal, a form of Brahman.
It reveals Gītā’s truth, with roots above and branches below.
8.
प्राणवायुप्रदः शुद्धः छायादाता दिनेषु च।
पूज्यते त्र्यंबके देवि विष्णुपादे च नित्यशः॥
It gives pure air and shade throughout the day.
Worshipped at Shiva’s shrine and Vishnu’s feet always.
9.
हृद्रोगशमनः प्रोक्तः वातपित्तहरः शुभः।
सर्वजीवनसंग्राही धर्मबन्धुः सदा स्मृतः॥
Known to heal heart ailments and balance vāta and pitta.
It gathers all life and is forever remembered as a dharmic ally.
10.
नमः प्राचीनजीवेभ्यः सत्त्वयुक्ताः वनस्पतिः।
भवतु नित्यं पूज्यत्वं युष्माकं लोकेषु सर्वदा॥
Salutations to you, ancient beings filled with sentience.
May your sacredness be honored forever in all worlds.
